AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Aesthetic medicine is performed by doctor Magdalena Kowalska. In 2013 she graduated from the Medical Academy in Lublin. She gained knowledge in the field of aesthetic medicine in the 3-year Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti Aging, as well as numerous trainings. Each patient is trated individually to propose an effective and comprehensive program, which results in improved appearance and rejuvenation.

BOTULINUM NEUROTOXIN (BOTOX)

Botulinum neurotoxin, commonly referred to as Botox, is a method of removing wrinkles that has been known for many years. With Botox you can smooth the lion's forehead wrinkles, horizontal forehead wrinkles, wrinkles around the mouth (smoker's lines), crow's feet..

Botulinum neurotoxin works by blocking joint-muscle conduction, resulting in the reduction of muscle tone and wrinkle alignment. The first effects are visible after 3 days. The effect lasts from 3 to 6 months. After this time, the procedure can be repeated.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • acute infections
  • purulent lesions at the injection site
  • neuromuscular diseases and disorders
  • concomitant use of medicines: gentamicin, amikcine
  • muscle relaxants

Recommendations after the procedure:

  • For 48 hours after the procedure you should avoid activities that may cause the movement of the preparation, i.e. physical exertion with the head tilted.
  • Avoid temperature fluctuations for 48 hours after the procedure, do not use the sauna, cryochamber, steam baths and avoid sunbathing or using the solarium.
  • Do not use face scrubs for 4-5 days after the procedure and do not massage the puncture site.

FILLERS FOR HYALURONIC ACID

Hyaluronic acid is the basic component of the skin that maintains its proper level of hydration and firmness. Over the years, the amount of hyaluronic acid gradually decreases, making the skin lose its firmness, wrinkles appear, cheeks and lips lose their volume. Thanks to the achievements of aesthetic medicine, we can reverse this process. By applying hyaluronic acid to the deeper layers of the skin, we can fill the sagging of the face, reduce wrinkles, nasolabial folds or enlarge the lips. The effect is visible immediately and lasts for 6-12 months.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy and feeding
  • infection
  • opryszczka
  • herpes
  • purulent lesions on the skin undergoing surgery
  • cancer and immunological diseases
  • taking blood thinners.

Recommendations before / after the procedure:

  • Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours after the procedure.
  • Avoid strong insolation (solarium) and heating (sauna) for 14 days after the procedure.
  • In the case of herpes susceptibility, it is recommended to take the drug for herpes on the day before and up to 3 days after the procedure
  • Wait 3 weeks between the procedure of filling wrinkles and other methods of skin rejuvenation (botox, laser therapy, chemical peel, microdermabrasion)

NEEDLE MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy is a method of rejuvenation and treatment of various skin diseases. The procedure involves making a series of needle punches during which the appropriate amount of the preparation is injected. Depending on your needs, for mesotherapy we use properly selected preparations containing, among others, hyaluronic acid, retinol, vitamins etc. Mesotherapy can be used on the face, neckline, neck, body (slimming, cellulite reduction), scalp (hair loss). Needle mesotherapy treatment is recommended in series.

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (VAMPIRE FACELIFT)

Platelet rich plasma is a treatment that rejuvenates the skin by providing plasma obtained from the patient's blood. It is a method designed especially for people with allergies and looking for natural methods to restore the younger look. Plasma stimulates stem cells to multiply and stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen. The doctor draws a small amount of patient's blood into special tubes that are subjected to centrifugation. The obtained platelet-rich plasma is injected using mesotherapy or linearly along wrinkles.

Application:

  • face
  • cleavage
  • neck
  • scalp
  • głowy

A series of min. 3 treatments

Contraindications

  • Pregnancy
  • infection
  • herpes
  • purulent lesions on the skin

Recommendations before / after the procedure:

  • Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours after the procedure

INJECTED PLATELET FIBRIN (i-PRF)

The platelet rich fibrin, like plasma, is obtained from the patient's blood. However, fibrin has additional advantages because it is enriched with valuable stem cells. In addition, the slow release of platelet growth factors during platelet-rich fibrin provides better effects than their sudden release in mesotherapy. Wrinkles are filled thanks to the formation of fibrin-fiber mesh under the skin. Fibrin fills the tissues above it gently, giving a mild embossing effect.

Application:

  • face
  • cleavage
  • neck
  • scalp

A series of min. 3 treatments.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy
